Profil

Drs. Ikhsan Matondang merupakan dosen prodi Biologi, Universitas Nasional dengan bidang keahlian adalah fisiologi tumbuhan dan kultur jaringan. Beliau menyelesaikan studi dan memperoleh gelar Sarjana bidang biologi pada tahun 1988 dan melanjutkan studi hingga memperoleh gelar M.Si di Institut Pertanian Bogor. Saat ini beliau sedang melanjutkan studi untuk memperoleh gelar Doktor di Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Beliau banyak melakukan penelitian yang berhubungan dengan kultur jaringan. Selain itu, beliau juga menjabat sebagai Ketua Unit Penjaminan Mutu Fakultas Biologi dan Pertanian, serta aktif melakukan penelitian mengenai biji pandan laut (Pandanus tectorius).
